Swim - Hanover - Stingrays Swim Club
This competitive program offers children and teens an opportunity to work with trained coaches to improve swimming skills, endurance and promote a healthy lifestyle.

- Requirements: Swimmers must…
- Be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- Can swim 25 yards freestyle demonstrating breathing to the side and good body position
- Can swim 25 yards backstroke demonstrating good body position
- Can demonstrate the fundamental knowledge of what breaststroke and butterfly should look like
- Can demonstrate the fundamentals of a forward dive from the edge of the pool
- Mastery of strokes is NOT required to join
Our North Hanover Y Stingrays is a competitive YMCA swim program for children ages 6-18. We offer instruction, training, and competition. Swim Team provides opportunities for personal development in individual stroke technique and skills, improved times, building self-esteem, and good sportsmanship.
No refunds for the program.

Summer Season
We are still accepting registrations for our summer (competition level) swim team program! This 12-week program will run Monday-Thursday 6:00pm-7:30pm, April 20th- July 25th (excluding holidays).
Only open to swimmers ages 6-18. Swimmers must be able to swim full lengths of a 25-meter pool with legal starts and turns for (optional) independent competition. All four strokes do not need mastery, but the ability to learn different strokes and turns are prerequisites for the program. Swimmers wanting to join the team must show respectful and ethical training, attitude, and effort towards a positive team impact on themselves, their teammates, and the community.

Swim with the Rays
SWIM WITH THE RAYS!
Come join us for some fun with the Stingrays! Does your child have an interest in swimming? Swim with the Rays offers you and your child an opportunity to meet the coaches, team and experience a practice to determine if they want to become a Stingray.
We will go over skills, expectations, fun team events offered and how we can work with your swimmer to help them enjoy and succeed on the team.
Parents are welcome to watch and ask questions on deck while their child swims with a Ray!
Requirements are:
Must be able to swim one lap of the pool without stopping.
Welcoming any ages from 6-18.
Dates are 4/22/26 and 4/28/26
Time: 6:30-7:30pm
