Did you know the Hanover Area YMCA has an Endowment Fund? The Hanover Area YMCA Community Enrichment Fund is the Y’s general endowment fund. Our obligation is to use this fund toward physical, mental and emotional enrichment and development of youth, adults and families as we identify needs and opportunities in our community. This fund receives any level of either outright or planned donations.

The Hanover Area YMCA Community Enrichment Fund accepts the following gifts:

  • Outright Gifts of Cash, stock or other securities.
  • Tribute Gifts in honor of or in memory of a loved one.
  • Charitable Will Bequests
  • Beneficiary Designation Gifts including retirement accounts and life insurance
  • Charitable Gift Annuities
  • Charitable Remainder Trusts
  • Charitable Lead Trusts

HOW WILL I BE REMEMBERED?

HERITAGE FOUNDATION members are a very special group of people who have chosen to have a lasting impact on the Hanover Area YMCA by generously making or planning future gifts to our Y. Our members believe in the tradition and mission of the YMCA and want to ensure that this heritage is continued for future generations.

How Can I Become A Member?

  • Include the Hanover Area YMCA in your estate planning and simply let us know. Unless you tell us, we may not know about your planned gift until after your passing.
  • Make an Outright Gift of cash, stock or other securities/assets with a value of $1,000 or more.

Benefits of Membership

  • Invitations to annual meeting and special YMCA  events and youth programs.
  • Receive semi-annual newsletter that includes Hanover Area YMCA program updates.
  • Your name included in the YMCA annual report, website and on the Heritage Foundation plaque in our facility (unless anonymity is desired).
