Swim - Hanover - Private & Semi-Private Swim lessons
Welcome to private swim lessons! Our goal is to provide individualized swim instruction to meet the needs of participants. All abilities and ages (3 OR OLDER) are welcome! Please come into one of our branches to fill out an inquiry form to be paired with an instructor.

Due to staffing situations, you will be contacted when we have a potential instructor for the indicated time. This can take up to several months, this form places your interest on our wait list.

Private (6 Session Package)
Welcome to private swim lessons! Our goal is to provide individualized swim instruction to meet the needs of participants. All abilities AND ages (older than 3) are welcome!
In order to make your private lesson experience go as smoothly as possible, please familiarize yourself with the following information regarding scheduling and policies:
1) Private lessons are sold in packages of 6 pre-paid lessons and are non-refundable
2) Private swim lessons are scheduled for a 30 min lesson.
3) All lesson packages must be completed within 6 months
4) Lessons are scheduled at a time that is mutually convenient for both the instructor
and participant and does not interfere with the already existing pool schedule
5) If for some reason you need to reschedule a lesson, you are responsible for
notifying the instructor directly as well as the YMCA 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in forfeiting the missed lesson.

Semi-Private (6 Session Package)
Semi-Private lessons offer a more personalized swimming opportunity with a smaller ratio of participants than our group lessons. The ratio of swimmers to instructors is 2 to 1. You must have two participants to enroll, we do not pair children for these lessons. Both children must be of the same swimming ability! The total cost is for both participants, you will not have to pay the below rate twice.
