Did you know that the Hanover Area YMCA has a nationally recognized Swim Program? Our staff of certified instructors are teaching both children and adults aquatic skills and safety around water. We’re here for everyone- all ages, from infants to seniors can learn to swim. Check out our new classes and levels that fit your family’s needs and busy schedules.

Child and Youth Development
(Early Learning Center for Ages 12 Months to 5 Years and School Age to 5th Grade)
The Hanover Area YMCA is proud to offer the children in this community and the surrounding area the opportunity to experience the BENEFITS that a fully equipped and professionally staffed gymnastics facility can offer. Our goal is to give children of all ages and abilities a wide variety of programs that will challenge them both physically and mentally.
Session Dates- Fall 1: August 28- October 21/ Fall 2: October 23- December 16
Our Early Learning Center program provides a safe and nurturing environment for children ages 12 months through 5 years of age. We are licensed by the OCDEL (Office of Child Development and Early Learning.
Our School Age Child Care (SACC) programs serve students in grades K-5th in Conewago Valley, Hanover, Littlestown, Upper Adams, and South Western School Districts.

Youth and Adult Sports
The Hanover Area YMCA is proud to offer endless opportunities for both Youth and Adults. With three Hanover Area YMCA locations, including an state-of-the-art indoor climate-controlled field house, you're sure to find what sport fills your need and the right location to play! We offer leagues, skills clinics, drop-in sessions and skill specific training to improve your game, increase agility, and focus on your sport of choice.
