Winter I Soccer - Registration opens September 1st!

Hanover Rec Indoor Soccer is a coed program for ages 2-11. Participants will learn the fundamental skills through practices and games. Led by volunteer coaches, participants will practice once during the week and play games on Saturday mornings. Practice day and time notifications will be sent out through playerspace prior to start of season. Players will receive jersey and socks prior to first games. (Feeder program to Elite Soccer Program). Players may “play up” in older division but cannot play down.

Prior to season, our Soccer Academy Coach (Edgar Gody) will hold a Coaches Clinic to provide hands on instruction on drills and activities that can be done during the season. Edgar has played professionally overseas, coach club level soccer and is a current member of the Harrisburg Heat. Edgar will follow up at all practices to ensure both coaches and players have the best experience possible!

Also, at the Coaches Clinic the Sports Department will be partnering w/ Wellspan and provide an injury recognition and prevention presentation to all coaches.

Outside organizations who want to enter as teams please contact the Sports Department for more information.

When I asked to provide training to our u9 soccer team I was hoping their ball skills would improve as well as their confidence on the ball. But those expectations were greatly surpassed.
I’d highly recommend to any coach (as long as it doesn’t impact us) that if they want their kids to improve in foot skills, teamwork, and overall soccer knowledge.
