Balancing schedules as a caregiver can be challenging. Child Watch makes it easier by providing a safe, engaging space for your child while you take time to work out, recharge, or attend a program. This convenient drop-in service requires no registration — just check in when you arrive. Child Watch is currently available at our Gettysburg, Hanover, and South Hanover locations.
Hours by Location
Child Watch is available at three of our four locations. Hours are the same across all three branches.
Gettysburg
Monday–Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM. Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
Hanover
Monday–Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM. Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
South Hanover
Monday–Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM. Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
How It Works
Getting started with Child Watch is simple — no registration required.
Check in
Drop in during open hours and check your child in at the Child Watch desk — no advance registration needed.
Enjoy your time at the Y
Parents are required to stay at the facility while their child plays in the Child Watch.
Pick up your child
Parents are allowed to bring their child for up to 2 hours per day.
