Bus in Swim
The YMCA Bus-In-Swim Program is an award winning program in Outstanding Program Innovation. Starting in September each school year, the YMCA conducts after school swimming lessons with 15 area elementary schools. The YMCA bus picks up children at their school and after lessons may bring back the children based upon preference of the parent. This is a five week program that is 45 minutes in length. Every five weeks, we start a new school. Schools included in program are: Bermudian Springs Elementary, New Oxford and Conewago Township Elementary, Park Hills, Baresville, West Manheim, and Manheim Elementary, Rolling Acres Elementary, Clearview, Washington Street, and Hanover Street Elementary, Annunciation BVM, St. Joseph’s, Immaculate Conception and, Sacred Heart Elementary.
