The Hanover YMCA currently has positions available in the following areas.Early Learning Teacher & Substitute (Ages 1-5)Requirements (one of the following) to meet NAEYC standards: Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Special Education or Child Development. Bachelors degree with a minimum of 36 credits in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Special Education or Child Development. Associates degree with a minimum of 30 credits in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Special Education or Child Development. Working on an Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Special Education or Child Development. Youth Flag Football Coordinator
Description: With the help of the Operations Director and previous Youth Flag Football Coordinator, this individual will lead our relatively new youth flag football programming. This individual MUST be highly organized, an excellent communicator, have ability to multi-task, knowledge of football, ability to coach, and ability to train volunteer coaches. A passion for the sport, mentoring young adults, training volunteers, and ability to work with young children is a must. The two programs that this individual will coordinate are the Pee Wee Football Program which is for grades K – 3 and is offered in the fall twice per week in Hanover and South Hanover. The spring program is the Youth Flag Football League which has teams practicing during the week which are lead by volunteer coaches and then play games on Saturdays. The coordinator in this program trains the volunteers, communicates with parents, and organizes the games.
Dates and times: Early September through October for the fall program and April – early June for the spring league.
Compensation: $10 – 12/hour depending on experience YMCA membership and employee benefits including 25% off programming

Youth Flag Football Assistant
Description: Assist Flag Football Coordinator with all aspects of the youth flag football programs.
Dates and times: Early September through October for the fall program and April-early June for the spring league
