One Day Special Events

May:

Hanover Community Day 5 - K Run, 5/1, 8 am, Hanover YMCA

Volunteer Needs:

Registration Tables (4 volunteers, 6 am – 8 am) – Will check racers in and ensure they have completed all the required paperwork (registration form, liability form, etc).

On-Course (23 volunteers, 7 am – End of Race) - Will ensure racers are following the course map and there safety while on the course.

Volunteer Needs:

Registration & Officials (2 volunteers, 8 am – 4 pm) – Will check participants in and ensure they have completed all the required paperwork (registration form, liability form, etc). As official will ensure participants are following the rules and there safety while participating.

Volunteer Needs:

Registration Tables (3 volunteers, 9 am – Noon) - Will check in golfers and ensure they have everything needed for their golf outing.

Silent Auction/Dinner Preparations (2 volunteers, 9 am – 7 pm) – Assist in the promotion of the silent auction to golfers and assist in the set up of dinner.

On Course (8 volunteers, Noon – End of Tournament) – Pass out drinks, assist if golfers are in need of assistance and be a friendly face for the golfers!

June:

YMCA/YWCA “Women Fore Women” Golf Tournament, 6/25, Noon, The Bridges

Volunteer Needs:

Registration Tables (3 volunteers) - Will check in golfers and ensure they have everything needed for their golf outing.

On Course (8 volunteers) – Pass out drinks, assist if golfers are in need of assistance and be a friendly face for the golfers!

August:

Adventure Race, 8/7, 8:30 am, Codorus State Park

Volunteer Needs:

Registration Tables (6 volunteers, 6 am – 8am) - Will check racers in and ensure they have completed all the required paperwork (registration form, liability form, etc).

On Course (10 volunteers, 8 am – End of Race) – Will ensure racers are following the course, receiving their checkpoints and there safety while on the course.
